Musician-centric Theater

The idea for this business is a theater that hosts concerts, but provides living and practice space for bands. There would be several bedrooms that would allow up to 8 people to stay overnight and a small recording studio where they could practice or record for free.

Prices for concessions would be lower than competitive venues and would be lower than the usual event prices.

By providing musicians with a free place to stay and record, it would be more likely to attract the bigger name bands and by providing patrons with an affordable experience, it would be more likely to attract crowds.

Sales Aggregator

The Sales Aggregator company provides artists, craftspeople, and small business owners a single place to access all their sales websites. For example, a painter sells his work on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Craigslist, and CafePress. When he wants to list a new piece of art, he needs to log in to each website and post a description, price, etc. Then, when a purchase comes through, he receives an email from the various sites notifying him of the sale. He needs to then log in to whichever site it was to get the purchase details and send it off.

With the sales aggregator, the artist need only log in to one central site to post a new product and to print all the necessary shipping details. The goal of the site is to allow someone to only need to create the post, print a shipping label, and wait for the mailman to come.

UPDATE: As with a lot of my seemingly newfangled and brilliant ideas, this one already exists. The one I found is called Salesbrite.com. They only offer their service for a couple major sites, but I'm sure they'll be adding more in the future.
